Polymers are compositions of a certain composition obtained from monomers, oligomers, polymers with the introduction of various components (ingredients) during manufacturing or in the process of molding an article to purposefully impart properties to both the material and the article from it.
Nowadays, more than half of the pipelines are made of plastic pipes, that’s why it is hard to believe that quite recently the pipelines for gas, water and heat supply consisted only of metal and concrete pipes. It was possible thanks to the spread of polyethylene in our lives.
Polyethylene became known in the late 50s – early 60s. Over time, the specialists understood that the polymer is unique substance, because its technical characteristics allow us to manufacture completely different, and at the same time high-quality things. However, the first molecular polyethylene did not have the characteristics that it possesses nowadays — it was short-lived, as well weak before external influence. Therefore, it was used only for weakly loaded cold water pipelines. However, chemical and thermal treatments brought the quality of the material to new level.
Later, the materials familiar to us today were made of the polymer: high density polyethylene (HDPE) and low-density polyethylene (LDPE), polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC). These materials became main component in the manufacturing of polyethylene pipes. Such pipes were resistant to corrosion, more environmentally friendly and safer for humans and environment, easier to transport and use. Besides, such the pipes were easier to connect to each other, and therefore, they were more airtight.
Nowadays, HDPE and PVC pipes have no competitor on any point – price, quality, reliability, practicality and durability. And we have no competitors in terms of the quality of service, products and optimal prices! We welcome EVERY customer. You will be satisfied with all the aspects of our cooperation with you!
